"POSSIBILITIES"

"Inspiration and enthusiasm are necessary to the highest use of this power. There is something
triumphant and transcendent about it... Do not be afraid of these higher emotions." - Ernest Holmes
In April I presented a series of talks on "Twitter-pation." First used in the Disney production of the film Bambi in the 1930's, this term has taken on a new significance here at the Sanctuary for Spiritual Living. The New Urban Dictionary defines twitter-pation as "an enjoyable disorder of excitement and joyous anticipation and high hopes." I love this idea that you can have a condition of joyous anticipation that includes high hopes. In fact, it's possible I was born twitter-pated. I'm enthusiastic, excited about life, a bit loud and I guess I just live large... that sort of explains BIG Wednesday.
It is refreshing for someone like me to find such quotations from our founder Ernest Holmes that encourage enthusiasm and twitter-pation. He once said that we should live in a continual state of expectancy, because no matter how much good we have experienced today, we can expect even greater good tomorrow! I have always thought that one of the most important
messages in the Science of Mind writings is that we truly must seek to feel the answer of our prayer already answered as we pray it. We should get excited and filled with deep gratitude that comes alive within us. We must really believe that it is done! Emma Curtis Hopkins called it Noble Conviction. Those are the feelings that Holmes states are triumphant and have a transcendent nature about them. It is the very stuff that uplifts us and deepens our faith and opens us to greater and greater possibilities. My Noble Conviction is coming to a grand zenith soon. At the time of this writing I have completed all of the requirements for Ordination, and this is no ordinary accomplishment. This is a precious time in the life of a minister. And I am overflowing with love for all of you, for your generous and caring support through the many detailed steps leading to the privilege of Ordination. It is a most powerful example to me, of what really is possible when we dare to believe. Please save the date, Saturday, July 10th, and come celebrate this magnificent occasion. I am feeling Blessed, Inspired and Grateful...and certainly a bit twitter-pated! As Ernest Holmes said, Do not be afraid of these higher emotions!
Bright Blessings!
