Yes, "EMERGENCE" was the theme and we had 18 new Religious Science ministers pass their oral panels and step into ministry. Two of them coming form our own Sanctuary for Spiritual Living!
* Rev. Karen Rice has supported our church as a teacher and practitioner for the last several years and we are so BLESSED to have her ministry here "mid-wifing us into our infinite possibilities".
* Linda Raponde is relatively new to our congregation, she complete most of her studies up in Washington. We are BLESSED in that when she accepted a position at home office, she and her husband Walter Carlisle chose us as their home church.

2 Ways to Support Sanctuary for Spritual Living with SCRIP!
In our Annual Meeting in October we introduced an idea that many schools and churches use to assist in increasing income to their organizations. It is called "scrip."
What is Scrip? Scrip comes in two forms: negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash OR it can be connected with a merchant's "swap" card (usually your grocery store) or your credit or debit card. The beauty is that scrip is issued by national and local retailers where you
already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations and ask that we support them by shopping at their stores. Scrip can be used to purchase food at grocery stores and restaurants, clothing, home improvement, and auto supplies, merchandise and services, travel and
hotel, books purchases and video rentals, and other items.How does purchasing scrip at my church assist the church? In the case of a grocery store card, you either register your request on line to have your card list our Sanctuary as your preferred charity, (See "How do I Participate for the links) or you can give us your card number and we can register your request. When purchasing scrip from the church, with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. You receive the full face value for the scrip you buy and our church retains the discount. The reason scrip is effective, is because you produce revenue by making purchases you would make anyway. The retailers discount between 1.5% to 15% or more.
How do I participate?
1. In the case of the "swipe" cards: You can go on line to register the follwing swipe cards:
Ralphs - Register at www.ralphs.com by clicking on Community Contributions, then click Participants. Use Sanctuary for Spiritual Living or our NPO number which is 83800.
Food 4 Less - We will be getting a supply of Community Rewards Cards, once registered these cards will also accumulate a percentage of what is purchased with each swipe.
Vons, Pavillions, Safeway - Register as a participant choosing Santuary for Spiritual Living or our ID#166441610 at www.escrip.com. Simply follow the easy online directions.
Albertsons - We are in the process of setting up an account with them now!
OR if you are not comfortable regisering on-line simply complete a form from church, fill out your card information and return it to us and we will register your cards grocery cards for you.
Debit & Credit cards - You can also register your Debit & Credit cards at "www.escrip.com." As soon as you are registered, every time you swipe your card at the participating stores, they will track your purchases and calculate the total percentage to send to our church.
2. Purchasing Scrip (gift cards) from church: We have created an order form at the church, fill it out & turn it in with a check on Sunday and you can pick up your Scrip on the next Sunday. (*The church does need a minimum order) Check out some of the stores at Great West Scrip Retailers, this link gives you a current listing of participating retailers, the denominations of the gift cards available AND the contribution percentage the church will get!
